COMMUNITY RELATIONS COMMITTEE
This committee was designed to build and maintain an open relationship between the community and Constable Villarreal. Realizing that Constable Villarreal cannot be in two places at once and not having enough time in the day to reach everyone, Constable Villarreal divided her Precinct into 7 community sectors each having its own representative. These representatives are comprised of volunteers who range from stay at home parents to business owners. Constable Villarreal meets with these community representatives each month as they discuss matters which the community may have. Constable Villarreal then implements resolutions or may meet with and share these concerns with local municipalities in order to develop a team effort campaign so that these issues may be addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
By creating this committee, Constable Villarreal is able to obtain the needs, concerns and expectations of the community and able to effectively design and implement creative and strategic measures in order to produce effective and promising results for the community.
